From Robert Petrusko's critical cartography class Mapping: Geographic Representation and Speculation, Harvard GSD Spring 2013.

The class fabricated physical models of conceptual mappings to manifest the agency these representational tools hold in shaping the built environment. This particular map is loosely based on Cambridge, Massachussetts' landscape of cultural consumption as traversed by the 70+ students in the class. Cultural hotspots and personal walking paths were used to generate a surface representing that landscape of consumption. We also took the opportunity to explore the idea of a lightbox as an art object. Plexiglass, Sandblasted Aluminum, Red Paint.

Another collaboration with the lovely Melissa Alexander.
