DeadCenter Program
Tasked with the concepting, design and layout of the DeadCenter Film Festival in downtown Oklahoma City, my goal was to create a vivid but easy-to-navigate design that incorporated the turquoise of the event's logo, a color that has become associated with the festival itself. A challenge was creating a coherent, easily referenced film schedule when many of the films run concurrently. My solution is a color-coded multi-dimensional table placed on the back of the program, it can be searched easily by time, venue or film name, all without even opening the program. Since the program was printed on newsprint, I kept the colors bright with high contrasts. I also created the icon designating Oklahoma films.
