This project has included illustrations and design for two chapters of the timeless masterpiece of English children’s literature. Graham’s animal characters are images of his contemporaries, fellow countrymen, friends or random passers-by he met every day. In my illustrations, I strived to reveal the personality of each character, while being very attentive to details, such as the style of clothing and interiors, to convey the spirit of the age.

The project was featured at Chytomo.com, the Ukrainian reading and book publishing portal, and presented, along with the original artwork and merchandise, at the Illustrators’ Fair section of the International Book Arsenal Festival 2018 in Kyiv, Ukraine.
