Book Dash is an amazing initiative that works to provide free children's books to children in Africa and the world. Twice a year they hold an event where creatives work together in teams of four to create a children's book from start to finish in 12 hours.
It is an awesome day filled with creativity, love and great (new) friends, as you only meet your team that morning. I was very blessed to work with an awesome team of kick-ass ladies which included: Refiloe Moahloli (our fearless writer) and Sune Nadine (our extremely talented illustrator) and myself as the designer.
'There's an alien in my house' is a heartfelt story aimed at kids under the age of 5 that tells a real world story in a super fun and happy metaphor. You can download the ebook here as well as the working files so you can translate it into your own language and share it!
