Based in Albuquerque, New Mexico is a new and upcoming professional American football team headed your way! The New Mexico Marauders will make their NFL debut this upcoming 2020 season as the 33rd team to play for the AFC West Division.
As a new team it is essential to possess a strong brand identity to make not only the team successful, but the franchise as well. To do this and have it translated to the public successfully, I focused on promoting the culture and characteristics from their home state New Mexico. Color theory, product/packaging design with thorough research of current NFL teams was used to create my concept.
From that concept each Marauder team member will be perceived as a raider, an aggressor, and/or a mean-mugging attacker. A rugged appearance complimented by a variety of carefully selected uniform and color designs, their reputation for being a tough and determined team will be solidified. Through an award-winning brand identity showcased by aesthetics, tone and authenticity, the New Mexico Marauders will command a respect seen only for seasoned teams and a following that will surpass all others.
