Railroads vol. 1 - Local

Since i was child, i love railroads and trains more than anything else. I was so amazed that when i went to some place for holiday with my family, i often forced my parents to take me to the local train station to see it. I'm not the classical expert about train configuration, specs of the vehicles, and other technical stuff about it, like a lot of train lovers; i only like it, i like see they pass through, i like the noise.

So it must be not surprising that one of the first thing i was going to shoot with a new camera it would have been trains and railroads. Luckily in January i changed my job, and the new one it's located near railroads. Even when they transferred me in another location for few days, the office was really in front of local train station, so i decided to spend my launch times to take some photos, and this is the work that comes out. I hope you enjoy it.
The local train make a great scene separation from the right, commercial district of the city, and an empty space on the left, where there is the station.
The station of Lonigo (VI), far less than 5 minutes to my office, it was the main home of my launches for almost 2 months. A lot of train pass through that station, most of which don't stop in it, so i was able to test some techniques like panning.
And was in that place where i took one of the best, if not THE best, of my photos so far. I was training for half an hour with feet position, arms movement, and so on, when at one point, without any sign, this train comes out at an incredible speed.
Black & White photos are very difficult to take well, and maybe I'm not so good right now. But i love them, and sometimes i try to make it.
The last station i visited didn't have so much than a very straight line in both directions. That day i was trying the new ND filters i bought some days before.
