Practical, workable designs for luxurious small spaces
Bathroom design can be tricky. The spaces are small, the mechanical and structural concerns are many, and the clients' wish lists usually extend far beyond their intial budget expectations. Nevertheless, bathrooms are one of my favorite project types to design. I love the challenges of balancing the aesthetic with the practical, the luxurious with the economical to come up with solutions that improve my clients' homes and their quality of life. These photos represent projects I've worked on since coming to J.S. Brown & Co. in 2002. A few were collaborations with other designers, but most were just partnerships between me and the homeowners - working together to create a space that would serve both the physical need to cleanse and the emotional need to relax.
