Dare to be happy is an illustrated book full of vibrant colors and adventure following the main character Blue, a dog in search of happiness.
The main character is based on my dog Bella. She is a small dog with a big personality, who finds joy in the small things. She has been a great companion to me and has provided me happiness in times of great stress. This project is comprised of several deliverables such as: enamel pins, stickers, tote bags, and my fully illustrated book.
This project is very personal as it combines my passion for animals, design, and it deals with mental health issues that I have personally dealt with, but brings up the subject in a lighthearted manner.
