A motel room.
The following assignment leans towards creating a realistic large scale set. After brainstorming as a group, we decided to use the leg lamp from the movie ‘A Christmas Story’.
The assignment uses the leg lamp owned by a team-member which unfortunately wasn't available on the SketchUp warehouse resulting in the use of a regular yet similar lamp to replace the original.
Our motel room was inspired by 'cheapness' and 'sin'.
We chose red walls, a red carpet that looks inexpensive, a bed that was going to be made by stacking a few boxes and cushions and then covering it with a black cheap looking fabric, curtains and photo-frames were an optional idea kept handy during our photo-shoot.
Our main focus was the leg lamp and we decided to keep it on a wooden table, with a holy bible, along with two pairs of heels to contradict the same idea.
