Female solo travel, survival kit
This is a self-initiated project. I created a product that would benefit women that travel solo.
Travelling solo is one of the most amazing things in the world. You get to see so many new countries, learn about new cultures and get to know the locals. If you travel by plane, car, van, boat, train or any other way you will always have a great time but we all know that it also brings a lot of anxiety and problems along with it. Especially when you are female. Being a female solo traveller has its benefits but it can have a lot of disadvantages. You have to look over your shoulder constantly, keep your belongings close to you, try not to attract a lot of attention, have an alarm with you, look confident all the time, tell people you are not interested, cover-up enough not to get too much attention and a lot more of these not so fun things. These things listed are important things just so you won’t get mugged or get assaulted by someone.
I have been travelling solo since I was 15 years old. Many women would love to travel by themselves but are too afraid to start their journey because travelling solo comes with a lot more responsibilities and it can be a lot more complicated.
I created a female solo travel survival kit and guide that you can buy online and use while you are travelling. These items would be something that will get you organised and feeling confident while on the road. This is not a starter guide on how to start your journey but a kit that you can fall back on in case of emergencies.
This box would include a guide, journal, bum bag, passport holder, e-alarm, international adapter and more small gadgets.
