The Jupiter’s eye

Size 80 * 60 cm
Genre: space abstraction.
Acrylic, mixed media, canvas.

The artwork "The Jupiter’s eye" is about searching of the self-identification in the infinite space of the universe. Jupiter is the "king" of the solar system. No other planet is as massive as it is, no one rotates as fast and has no such severe storms as Jupiter.
The Jupiter’s eye (Big Red Spot) is an atmospheric formation on Jupiter that has been observed by astronomers for 350 years. It is also called "Jupiter's Eye." This is the core of this work, the symbol of the biblical All-seeing Eye, symbolizing the All-seeing God. Supervisor, controller or chronicler? Such an All-seeing Eye observes everything living and inanimate in the Universe as we (humans) comfort our own pseudo-control of our own lives.
