I’ve been wanting to create some chalk art on our sidewalks and the first idea that came to mind was a peacock. I don’t usually draw peacocks so this was new for me. I used regular sidewalk chalk and painted with water to blend and set it into the concrete. I added some shadows later with charcoal. I learned the next day that the peacock represents change, resurrection and new life which gives a whole new meaning to the peacock for me. It is very timely with this Easter weekend...resurrection and renewed life is coming!
