The people at the tutoring center in Penn State Behrend contacted the Usability Lab, asking for our assistance dealing with their scheduling website Starfish. They complained about the lack of intuitiveness, the confusion it causes users, and the limitations it places on the scheduling process. In order to best identify what exactly was causing this usability issues, a fake version of the site was made imitating its UI in order to conduct usability tests without compromising the students' personal information that is contained in the actual site. The prototype was built using Sketch and Adobe XD.
