MY ROLE
As a sub-brand of Casa das Caldeiras, I created the Brand concept and Design System, besides of course the main webpage layout itself.
THE BRIEFING
Casa das Caldeiras had the opportunity to connect all its network in a single and inclusive event, to generate even more network. The ideia was so visually stick to its main brand, creating a different but recognisable visual appeal to an audience that already knows the main brand.
THE CREATION I CAME UP WITH
Using brown (from the original brand) as main color, I suggested using yellow as a complementary color, a handwritten typeface to give a “handmade” touch and the use of connection lines all over the layouts, illustrating the main concept of networking.
HOW MY DESIGN FITTED TOGETHER WITH THE UX
I had to think about delivering a simple Design System and Brand materials so their marketing team could have patterns and rules in order to keep the design on events yet to come.
MY LEARNINGS
As simple as it was to make the project come to life, was to deal with the client. Unlike others, they trusted me from day one. Even with having to organize content coming from too many people, the project went ok and I had the pleasure of attending the event – which as amazing.
