MWK's profile

Ausstellung Boris Lurie

In collaboration with the Boris Lurie Art Foundation, the NS Documentation Center of the City of Cologne presented a survey exhibition of the artist's work. MWK was entrusted with the complete advertising campaign as well as the design of all media for the exhibition and was involved in the exhibition concept.
Boris Lurie was born in Leningrad in 1924 and grew up in Riga. He survived the Riga ghetto and several concentration camps. Lurie's anger and moral shock are reflected in the raw, authentic formal language of his artworks.
The shocking and disturbing effect of many of the drawings, collages and objects was intensified in the rooms of the former Gestapo prison. The entire exhibition signage, from the roll-up display to the object label, was designed and produced by MWK in consultation with the curator.

To enable visitors to experience the unique exhibition on the Internet, MWK developed a 3D tour consisting of linked individual sequences for each room and offering 360° views with navigation options both sideways and in depth.
