I bring here portraits of the family of Mounir Ismael, a friend I met directing the photograph of a documentary by Juliana Borges. The film still in the production phase and deals with Mounir's life: a refugee for economic reasons who, between comings and goings , became a Brazilian citizen and now lives in São Paulo. This was the first time that Mounir returned to Africa to visit his family after almost twenty years away. Mounir and part of his family came from the Central African Republic and have been refugees in Cameroon for over two decades.
