    As a young professional in a small and highly sought-after market, it’s extremely hard to be noticed… nevermind stand shoulders above the crowd. With a growing portfolio of videos, Maria needed a website to showcase her work in a way that reflected her personality: simple, classy and clean. Normally an identity stems originally from a logo or concept, but in this case we began with an online presence and derived an identity from that. Using key colors unique to each page, we highlighted the multiple facets of Maria’s work: writing, modeling, and videography. We maximized this contrast with a dark background, easy on the eyes for reading but still striking in it’s tone. We then designed skins for both Twitter and YouTube, the two main sites in Maria’s social presence. The logo and business card continued the trend of simplicity and class. The logo is simply a monogram, and the key color of cyan used to highlight Maria’s cool nature. The business card was printed on a textured 14pt stock with no coating to have a soft, welcoming feel.
