A unique dormitory project that provides both in-dependency  and  unity, by separating a 50 living units but using the spaces in between for minor courtyards that works as a gathering points and a natural view for the other surrounding living units.

And applying the biophilic design attributes on each living unit ( natural sunlight, natural ventilation, natural materials...) in a creative way.

The main idea of this five stories high dormitory project was providing spaces where memories can be made ( the minor courtyards ), which also plays a psychological role in strengthen the users memory; since stress, depression and isolating are the main factors that weakens the memory.

Playing with void to create a horizontal and a vertical space connections, letting the sunlight accompanied with fresh air pass through the living units to reach the other ones, which creates a strong connection to nature.

Using big glazed panels on each unit to overlook the courtyards, and natural wood to strengthen the connection to nature even more, and for it's aesthetic appearance with the white painted walls.
