ABOUT
F.U.L.L. Bar, located one level below BARVY restaurant in Kyiv, has been recently opened by Nazar Makarov, a bartender at BARVY and the winner of the World Class Ukraine 2018 and Eastern European Final of the Drinks Come True by Bombay Sapphire 2019 contest.
CONCEPT
F.U.L.L. Bar positions itself as the first Ukrainian cocktail lab offering its guests a choice of unique products and unforgettable experience that are not available in traditional restaurants and bars. If you would like to taste sophisticated variations of traditional cocktails or enjoy bespoke drinks that are prepared right in front of your eyes — this place is for you.
DESIGN
The F.U.L.L. Bar experience is created by the fusion of elements that evoke a sensation of magic unfolding around you: it is in the relaxing atmosphere that invites you to unwind after a long working week. It is also in colourful spotlights that highlight the interior and accent its unique elements.
Inevitably, it’s in the state-of-the-art technology area — the cocktail lab — that can be observed behind the glass partition from the seating area. And of course, it is in the mastery and professionalism of the staff working here, from the top cocktail bartender and mixologist to the F.U.L.L. Bar’s youngest waiter.
The core of the premises is a rectangular bar, centrally positioned and surrounded on three sides by rows of bar stools. The shape of the bar is repeated in the overhead D-shaped stemware holder integrated into one of the ‘stalactites’ of the ceiling. The geometry of the ceiling is complex and organic; it fits well with natural materials of the furniture and interior.
More seating places are located along the walls — for one or two people and small groups.
The non-traditional approach to the bar’s product and design has manifested itself in the stemware design. The owners wanted to use something as far away from traditional as possible.  That is why the F.U.L.L. Bar’s stemware and tableware, usually made of ceramic and glass, has the appearance of carved concrete or unglazed stoneware. It is made of eight components, six of which are organic and two — non-toxic. It is a lot more durable and less brittle than glass or stoneware.

DETAILS & AUXILIARY
There is a separate a smoking area, a cloakroom and a restroom finished in Ukrainian granite.
The concept of F.U.L.L. Bar is a future-facing and innovative approach to the cocktail culture. One can’t help but notice that this concept is undoubtedly supported by the design of the place — open yet mysterious, with a dash of colour and a splash of gold. Friendly and welcoming.
