Coral Escape
2018
Fascinated by the ceramic works of artist Michael W. Moses, I painted a large scale mural exploring the vivid colours and layered shapes found in Coral Reefs. Magnifying into their intricately textured details, I was inspired to further develop knitted textiles illustrating the other worldly beauty of these underwater creatures. The rapid dying out of Coral Reefs in the past few years is alarming and I hope to raise awareness about this issue and preserve their pristine beauty through my creations.
