Kyle Cooper tasked me with conceiving a direction for another main title sequence, this time for the anticipated next chapter in the X-Men franchise. 

My concept focuses on the latent natural power of the volcano, with an escalating mood of foreboding. I wanted to eschew overt imagery of violence or force and instead set up an uneasy calm before the storm.
