KakaoGame platform is a mobile game platform using the social graph of KakaoTalk. Users can share game information with an account of KakaoTalk. KakaoGame aims for making environment that diverse partners can compete fairly, so KakaoGame Partners Forum is a meaningful event as they open their insight and useful data for all their partners. We defined the core value of the forum as a place for finding a new opportunity and communicating with game partners.We developed existing graphic motif of Kakao to keep brand consistency, and expanded it to reflect the values of coexistence and communication with all partners. Also, we used points of game as design elements to accentuate a character of game forum. Icon set which represents the game forum was designed and overlapped solid color was used. It expresses that all elements is connected and it can be easily combined with other elements. So the identity system could be widely used in diverse media. It was also comprised in all applications like space design, banners, leaflets, souvenirs, and it created unified visual experience. Read Less

CLIENT DESCRIPTION
KakaoTalk is service that anyone can send a text message for free in anywhere in the world.
People can send not only a text message but also photos, movies, and contact numbers
with it. KakaoTalk is now broadening its business to diverse contents based services
like KakaoPage, KakaoPlace, and KakaoGame. 
 
 
BRIEF
KakaoGame platform is a mobile game platform using the social graph of KakaoTalk.
Users can share game information with an account of KakaoTalk. KakaoGame aims for making
environment that diverse partners can compete fairly, so KakaoGame Partners Forum is a
meaningful event as they open their insight and useful data for all their partners.
 

SOLUTION
We defined the core value of the forum as a place for finding a new opportunity and 
communicating with game partners. The whole brand identity was shaped up based on the values. 
Kakao has made their brand with the main yellow color and simple and witty designs.
The direction of design of this forum was maintained with the same way. We developed existing
graphic motif of Kakao to keep brand consistency, and expanded it to reflect the values of coexistence
and communication with all partners. Also, we used points of game as design elements to accentuate a character of game forum. Icon set which represents the game forum was designed and overlapped solid
color was used. It expresses that all elements is connected and it can be easily combined with other elements. So the identity system could be widely used in diverse media. It was also comprised in all applications
