LUZA Algarve International Festival of Light is an innovative and independent project that caused impact in Algarve’s region
with its uniqueness and inserted Portugal in the route of the international festivals of artistic lighting.
The light festival held its second edition between November 1st and 3rd of 2018, in Loulé.
It hosted national and international artists from countries like Portugal, Spain, Scotland, France, Japan, Poland,
United Kingdom and Germany. All facilities were free of charge and the visitors were able to walk through the streets, monuments and buildings of the city for an unforgettable and illuminated experience.
Among the artistic activities, were also held conferences with invited recognized artists to debate
and reflect on the importance of "Working with Light".
