OASES is an online gallery showcasing art made during the 2019-2020 Corona Virus Epidemic.  Artists, along with the rest of the world, are negatively impacted by quarantines, closures, and social distancing, especially those whose major source of income involves teaching classes or working secondary jobs.  In the midst of these challenges, artists also suddenly have more time to work, but limited conditions and means with which to do it.  OASES is a platform for artists to showcase their work and process as they respond to these unique circumstances, creating a virtual gallery that remains accessible to the public while they are stuck indoors.

I built the website using Adobe Portfolio.  I began by sourcing work from artists I know, and have begun receiving submissions from national and international artists through the OASES instagram page.  OASES is an ongoing project, with new content added regularly.
