In.Limbo is an experimental Publication written and designed by myself as part of a classroom assignment. The book is centered around exploring the relationship Nihilism has with Nostalgia, and it does so by analyzing a certain incident which happened to me during my childhood. In doing so, the book examines the philosophy of existentialism, and explores the huge impact it had on the 20th Century as a movement, both on it's systems and it's people.
Staying consistent to the philosophy of existentialism, where existing structures and rules are denounced, the book breaks away from conventional layouts and typography, experimenting with illegibility, lack of grids, orientation, and so on. Visual storytelling is also used throughout the book through it's imagery along with text.
