Afropunk Joburg was all about cultivating a sense of community.
It was all about the people - and they clearly brought out all the stops.
As a publication and communal space, Afropunk is centred around the lived experiences of black people and people of colour alike. #WeSeeYou is a statement in recognition of community and seeks to empower every individual in cultivating their own safe spaces.
