To promote tourism for cities in the United States, I created a playful graphic that displays the most memorable parts of San Francisco to me. I chose this city in particular because I had recently took a trip and toured the city myself. Elements of
San Francisco that stuck out to me incorporated in this design are the colorful buildings, the trams, the extremely steep and frequent hills, Pier 39, the bay, and of course the Golden Gate Bridge.

Initially I attempted to contain my design in a shape so that it may be easier to put on merch like buttons, but I quickly realized that what I desired to accomplish simply couldn’t be contained within a reasonably sized shape. I also played around with incorporating Alcatraz, but it was too many elements to put together in a way that would sufficiently convey it and everything else I wanted.
