TRiFL: A World Full Of Triangles

This project was for design school. It involved making a collection of seamless patterns and composting them onto an object. The finals were to be compiled into a look book. I chose triangles as the theme for my collection and used them to explore the world as I see it.
<<I suppose it’s not a social norm, and not a manly thing to do ((to feel/discuss feelings)). So that’s what
I’m giving the finger to::: Social norms and stuff... what good are social norms, really?
I think all they do is project a limited and harmful image of people. It thus impedes a b r o a d e r social acceptance of what someone might actually be like.>>
– JESS C. SCOTT, NEW ORDER

This collection of patterns is inspired by movement and coloured by nature. The triangular forms are a reflection of our culture and world while the system mocks the mindless commercialism found in it. The movement of the city, erosion of the landscape, water vapour rising, birds miagrating above us and electrons pulsing inspired each piece respectfully.
Thanks for scrolling down to the bottom and checking out my graphic hoodies.
