Enviromental Posters

In my winter term of 2012 I designed a series of posters for my environmental design class. We catered our designs based on the competitions we were entering the posters in, two favored a simplistic design and the third was more open ended.
Below is my poster entitled "No Oil" which was a typographic play involving a bicycle's wheels. Meant to encourage biking as a means of transportation that does not require oil.
Below are two versions of the poster entitled "Oil Hurts," using a feather to represent the wildlife affected by oil spills.
The last poster was a digital drawing of an eye close-up (done is photoshop) with the globe in the iris, entitled "eye on the world." This piece was meant to cause the reader to think about man's affect on the planet, and the planet's importance to man.
