The messenger of the gods is a connection between us and the divine,
it is as contradictory as the messages it convey to us.
If it is a small thing or a apocalyptic prophecy doesn't matter, the desire to kill the messanger of bad news is bigger then mankind. In the end, he is the only thing we can lay our hands on.
