The project aims to show movement in a static form. I invented a graphic system in order to explain people movement while interacting with a space. 
I took the data by recording the fluency of students and staff in Central Saint Martins University at different times of the day. Then, I translated it into simple maps. The lines are color coded to indicate the direction the subject was walking to.
Looking at the finalized maps it is possible to get a sense of the space and how people use it at each time of the day without even having to be there. In this way, by mapping movement we are truly mapping a space.
