Case study - AWT website

All Waves Technologies (AWT) is a young company based in Sherbrooke, Quebec, working in the field of tactile sensors. The aim of this project is to present their product to potential partners through a website.
Website features

After addressing our client's needs and executing a review of the tactile technologies sector, we determined the type of information the website should display in order to catch the attention of visitors in a B2B perspective. We gathered this informations in sections as product overview, technical advantages, application fields and a short presentation of the team.

Graphic identity

Neutral colors have been used exhaustively in the field of technologies and AWT's team was ready to go the other way. The bright red of their logo was used in combination with charcoal grey and few touches of dark blue.
In contrast, we avoided fonts combinations and opted for Lato, which displays an interesting render when used for bold titles while being a classic sans-serif font for normal text.
Home page

Aims of the landing page are to grab the users's attention, to inform about the product and to engage the user to further explore the website. We constructed the page as a summary of the website itself with a short presentation of the product and its application fields and also a "work with us" section introducing AWT's process. Call-to-action buttons were included in each section.
Technology overview

The most important section of the website is undoubtedly the one presenting the product itself. The page gathers information about the product's functionality, the technology's main advantages and a comparison with other options in an appealing way. Illustrating the product in a way that would underline its specificity and novelty was a challenge we gladly took up and enjoyed.
Thanks for watching !
