It has been said many times over that the eyes are a window to the soul. For so many of us, however, it would seem the shutters are forever drawn. Occasionally, if one is patient, there comes a time, a brief, unguarded moment, when those shutters suddenly flash open and weare allowed a fleeting glimpse inside, down into the heart of that person’s true self.
It is for that ephemeral moment that I painstakingly search for through my portrait work.
