Oghistos Coffee Bar & Eatery

Oghistos Coffee Bar & Eatery
In antiquity, Oghistos was a tributary, son of the Greek god Poseidon, that crossed an area near Halki, in Larissa. This was the name of the village for several years before it was renamed to Halki. Today, Oghistos Coffee Bar & Eatery is the reference point in the everyday life and nightlife of Halki. I was delighted to redesign the logo, as well as the entire visual identity of the lounge bar, which has been established in Halki since 2001. The logo follows the style of typography with the letter "O" being penetrated by a water wave, as a reference to the river Oghistos. The logo's applications are accompanied by an artwork depicting a freer rendition of the course Oghistos followed. It also symbolizes the coexistance and fusion of Oghistos with the Amiros and Pineios rivers, as well as lakes Boibeis (Karla) and Nessonida.
