LOOKING UP vol.1
Ever since visiting LA for the first time forever ago, I've been drawn to the freeway interchanges. They remind me of the Hot Wheels tracks I used to build with my dad as a kid; all the sections with their crazy twists and loops. I just have to imagine there was a way less exciting way to design these intricate systems, but it's obvious whoever lead the architecture on these projects poured so much love and passion into their work -- and they had a joy for driving. I've bookmarked all my favorites over the years, and yet, I've done nothing with this list until now. While we've been doing our part on social distancing during this wild time, I'm not sure when I would have finally started this project otherwise. We are all going to be spending a lot of time at home in the coming months, so, find your balance, do the things you've been putting off, take care of yourself and each other and we'll come out smarter on the other side.
