2. HOME MENU

This home menu is similar to what we're already used to, but I've added some more features to it, starting with the notification icon which would light up when you got mail (credits from liveries, tunes, photos, AH etc). Next is how many friends are online playing the game. And the last one well it's a clock.

The rest of the menu should be easy to understand, but I'll explain some of the other tabs.
Go Race: Everything related to racing is here, Career, Single Player, Multiplayer etc.
Cars: Buy Cars, My Garage, Upgrade Car, Paint Car, Auction House etc.
Options: The usual stuff.

One tab I did not add as I came up with the idea rather late, is a Community tab where all your followed creators are. ( More on this later)

Forzavista would work as a button to load the interactive menu, so you can walk around your garage and point at things.
Quick Menu: Will get to that further down.
3. QUICK MENU.

Created as an easy way to navigate through menus. Explained below. ( Would also stop you from wearing out the B button as quickly)
4. BUY CARS

A simplified version of the buy car menu we have now, I took elements from the Storefront layout from FM4 with some of the elements from FM7. As you can see there is no 3D model of the car  as I wanted this to be as snappy as possible to go through, also I've removed the color codes to identify how rare a car is, this is not an MMO, the rarity of the car should be reflected on how difficult it is to collect or on how expensive it is.

The menu is also displaying both KW/BHP, Nm/LB-FT and KG/lbs at the same time so no need to toggle between them anymore. Could also be an option to choose which units you want for each one.
4. BUY CARS ALTERNATE VIEW

I got this idea from the first Gran Turismo, just a different way to look through manufacturers, each one would have a picture and a small text with a bit of company history. Could be a fun read while you're looking through the different manufacturers, maybe you'd learn something new.
5. AERO AND APPEARANCE.

For Index purposes.
6. VINYL GROUPS.

Mostly the same as you've seen before, but like everything else I've added some new features. You can now use LB and RB to quickly navigate between your logos (these were used to sync older files). You can now see how many logos you can make, so no more guessing.
The manufacturer listing we have on FM7 and FH4 is now available as a quicker way to navigate logos.
Syncing older files have a seperate button, this so you can choose which game to sync before you press the button and would be used to force sync if something went wrong.

Another feature I don't have a picture of is a search button.
6. SYNC FILES

Described what this menu is below.
7. LAYER CONTROL.

A set of features and improvements alot of painters have been asking for.
Below you can see the ones I've heard being talked about the most, which would help us painters in a big way.

Other options I didn't make any examples of is a way to type in the text you want and then choose one of the ingame fonts afterwards, this would free up alot of time while creating logos
(I would recommend everyone to create the fonts themselves and only use this for tiny logos ;)
8. LAYER DEPTH AND MAPPING.

Another needed feature. I've explained the process and idea behind this below.
(Hopefully it's not too hard to understand what I mean)
9. COMMUNITY.

A dedicated tab where you can easily access a creators Storefront, search for new players to follow. Also when you buy a new car only the paints of players you follow will be displayed, this to reduce the bloat of cheap paints you need to swim through to see the ones you prefer. ( If there are no paints available for that car, it will go to the default paints or to T10 picks. A discover tab would be there too, which would recommend the most popular paints outside the ones you follow.

Huge thanks to the following community members for letting me use their profile picture and name for this mockup. ABGRAPHICS, Chunky, ForzaLiveryGuy, Pat TheCat, Wildcat,SnakeEyes Friex, Duffman, Stuzib85, FOX, Skreamies, Sinnermac, Brains, Insomniac, Kaiju and Varjo Designs.
10. STOREFRONT.

A requested feature alot of community members want to return. For those who never played FM4, this was the easiest way to check what a player had to offer, everything was there, and you could set your own prices and the amount of copies available. So I've taken the layout from FM4 and used it as my base for my entire menu layout.

I haven't added any major features to this one as it was working perfectly back then.
You have a search storefront if you want to check what someone else have created, also added a dedicated "add to favourites" button, so if you find a Storefront with something you really like you just have to press a button and it will be added to your Community Tab so you can easily go back to at a later date and check what's new.
11. CONTROLLER OPTION.

My idea of other features I feel the game needs, but there are other players with way better ideas and features for the driving part of the game.
THANK YOU

Thanks for reading, and remember this is only a list of ideas and features. None of these features could be in the next game for all we know, I hope some are in some form myself but we just have to wait and see.
