Caribbian Islands Part X

St. Kitts is the larger of the two Caribbean islands that together form the island state of St. Kitts and Nevis. The island is known for its mountains covered by rainforest and its beaches with white, grey and black sand. The capital Basseterre is located on the southwest coast and still has Georgian buildings from the colonial period. 

St. Kitts ist die größere der beiden Karibikinseln, die gemeinsam den Inselstaat St. Kitts und Nevis bilden. Bekannt ist die Insel für ihre von Regenwald bedeckten Berge und die Strände mit weißem, grauem und schwarzem Sand. Die Hauptstadt Basseterre liegt an der Südwestküste und weist noch georgianische Gebäude aus der Kolonialzeit auf.
