The scraps, wastes and powders that remain in excess after the shaping of the lenses become the case and frame for the new line products to be shown to customers as a message aimed at raising awareness of the purchase.

The couvettes are the "containers", cases or caskets where the new collections of lenses are preserved, transported and exhibited, the tools through which the salesperson expose the products to customers.
The product is just the tip of an Iceberg that emerges in all its beauty. The production cycle, the resources, the extraction, the labor and especially the wastes are always submerged, hidden, obscured by the superficial image of the product.

The eco-couvettes produced are therefore of two types: the first type presents photochromic lenses immersed in a casting of bio resin that create a frame intended to contain the lenses. The second type consists of waste powder inserted into a thermoformed case on a recycled PET sheet. Both types are housed inside a container made out of recycled cardboard and natural tissue.
