Blue has become the new favorite for designers; classic shades will have longevity and live into 2021.  Looking across industries, including fashion, home decor, art and auto; colors begin to emerge as the go to colors for the season.
Pantone is known for the "color of the year", calling out classic blue.  This hue is a great foundation color that will compliment many other fashion colors.
Sherwin Williams is backing Navy as their color of 2020.  Home decor trends are turning to gold hardware adding shine and moving away from the patina metal finishes we've seen over the last few years.
The third blue call-out comes from PPG.  This shade is perfect for interiors, as well as, fashion.
Mint is a great hue to coordinate with coral or Cantaloupe.  Paired with soft gold (moving away from rose gold) looks fresh for 2021.
Behr Paint's color of the year is "Back to Nature", an interesting take on olive green, offering a retro industrial vibe.  In fashion, it's a softer, more accessible version of military green.  This color looks great with the blues of the season or even with Millennial Pink.
Benjamin Moore is updating Millennial Pink with a softer more mature hue.  In home decor, we are seeing it paired with black hardware.  It is also becoming a base color to off-set the fashion colors.
Flame red is a vibrant, exciting shade of red, called out by WGSN for 2021 and a similar version by Pantone for 2020.  Look for red to become more important next year.
Aqua is WGSN's color of the year for 2021.  It is yet another shade of blue.  This color looks great when paired with Cantaloupe or Coral.
Lemon Sherbert is a yellow update from WGSN.  We will also see some traditional mustard shades, but this is a fresh take on yellow.
Trend Bible is backing olive green for 2021.  It's a darker version that Behr Paint and very friendly to military, outdoor and utility looks for 2121.
Grey isn't going anywhere, in 2021 the shade is on the lighter side and a perfect neutral to pair with any fashion color.  It will look great in wool, velvet and suede.
