Life in Düsseldorf is almost at a standstill these days. Places that would have been full of people, especially during the first rays of spring sunshine, are as if extinct. The Old Town, where one usually fights through the crowds at night, is completely empty. This is also true of the Düsseldorf home breweries, which are a major part of Düsseldorf's sociability, mentality and culture. Corona has pressed the pause button and provides partly creepy pictures with an end-time mood. The Düsseldorf photographer "Thorsten Schmidtkord Fotografie" went out to document exactly this mood. He visited the Düsseldorf breweries, the Ratinger Straße and the old town and captured the bizarre situation in pictures.
