Due to my work in recent years being more development-focused than design-focused I had some creative juice boiling that needed to be let out. I had subscribed to the daily logo challenge in an effort to not forget about my artistic side, but I couldn't find the time in my day-to-day schedule to make a draft for any of the prompts I received.
When the quarantine / lockdown situation happened I saw the opportunity to use my weekend to make up for my missed days and I completed the 30 days logo challenge in 3 days.
My schedule went like this:
Day 1:
- Gather the prompts in a document and change some of them
- Brainstorm ideas for each logo in a sketchbook
Day 2:
- Write what each fictional company does
- Design the logos in Illustrator, very basic, no colors
Day 3:
- Add colors
- Prepare the presentational images (some logos were modified at this point as well)
This is the result of a creativity unlocking exercise and is not meant to produce refined and finalized logos.
All company names and ideas are fictional and are not meant to represent any existing company.
