The Light of Her Life

Project Intro: The goal of the project is to develop a poster that interpret a piece of music through typography, imagery and layout. Screens and projectors are used to compose different elements onto various surfaces and thus to create more dimensional design solutions.
Music Chosen: As a classical music player of the cello, I chose Cello Concerto in E minor, Op. 85 by Edward Elgar. The piece was played by Jacqueline du Pré, who was considered one of the most talented cellists at the time and known for bringing this piece to life. The sense of nostalgia and yearning flowing from the music is what inspire me most to create this poster.
