Print ads for the exhibit, "Maria Sibylla Merian & Daughters: Women of Art and Science" that highlighted the artistic and scientific explorations of scientific illustrations by the artists, in the field of entomology and the study of insects.

There was an issue with shooting this at the Getty Center due to available space and there was no location budget. Options were explored, talk about using stock and stripping in elements were discussed, but I wanted to shoot it properly.

My copywriter-partner Dennis and I found an art studio that was located near our agency and approached them to let us shoot in their space. We went to Home Depot and bought wood flooring and built our set on our own. We cast our Creative Director's Daughter (thank you Martin and Melania), and had our client counterparts ask a security guard if he would be interested in being our security guard for the shoot. Thankfully he was, and he was a great guy to work with. I roped in the amazingly-great photographer Jesse Rieser friend of mine (https://jesserieser.com/portfolio/) to bring it to life. I think he did a fantastic job. And we had no issues returning the flooring at Home Depot.
A campaign that included print, out-of-home and merchandise for the California Video exhibit. The Apple campaign with dripping colorbars came out about 5 or 6 months after this campaign. Their production was much better. I'd execute differently if I were to do it again.
Print and broadsheet advertisement for the "Aztec Pantheon: and the Art of Empire" At the Getty Villa. The exhibition includes masterpieces of Aztec sculpture, as well as the Florentine Codex, one of most valuable chronicles of Aztec history and culture, which returns to the Americas for the first time in more than four centuries.
