The Memoir captures the journey of an old abandoned house, the visitors, the residents, households it has seen assemble and ruin over the years. The lifeless walls hold a surprise with the endless stories that are carved in them, adores the wrecked furniture that once comforted many. It is home to those nostalgic times when you would run in the verandah chasing a butterfly, hide behind the wooded pillars and scratch the cracks of sepian walls. This house reverberates untold stories, skipped moments, it feels like the smell of books, the dust drenched windows, it seems like a Memoir.
