Flying Mobility Drone Design Concept (2020)

Flying Mobility Drone Design Concept (2020)

The flying mobility drone design concept is designed as an extension of the previously proposed open structure mobility concept in 2016.

The optimized cabin frame can be combined with independent drone modules. Each wing of the drone module is automatically tuned for vertical take-off and landing and free-directions. The independent drone module is also combined with a logistics box to share ground and air transport through hub stations. The drones share energy with smart city buildings and intelligently share charging and parking, self-diagnosis and databases through docking stations installed in spaces at the top.

The overall concept was proposed by KLIO. In the conception process, 3D sketching tool developed by Kaist Sketchlab was used to review 3-Dimensional sketch line and motion in real time, and digital air-flow simulations were carried out in cooperation with TSNE DfAM.
The concept is an early stage, and detailed research plans are being developed to proceed to the next stage.
