2019 49ers Post Season Branding

Heading into the postseason, we wanted to amplify our brand by focusing on the gold and premium feeling that replicated the energy our team was creating on the field. We relied heavily on the energy our players were conveying in photos and accompanying that with shiny gold textures that look like the shine of our helmets and the bright reds in our jerseys. Our players had been saying #BeLegendary all season and this season was definitely a legendary so we incorporated that slogan and mentality into our post season branding as well.
NFC WEST CHAMPIONS
DIVISIONAL ROUND
The story line heading into the divisional round vs the Vikings was that we had one of our powerful defensive leaders, Kwon Alexander, back from injury along with Jaquiski Tartt and Dee Ford. This created a lot of momentum for our team that we wanted to reflect in our graphics.

SUPER BOWL BOUND
Unfortunately for the Super Bowl, most of the graphics I made went to the grave yard. I am thankful for the experience to have created graphics on the largest stage and hopefully next time more of the ones prepped will be used. In the meantime, here is what I can show you. Our overall brand strategy for Super Bowl social graphics, was using an art deco Miami style and elements to elevate our post season brand another level while still focusing on the gold legendary feeling we had established throughout the post season.
