Technology can greatly complement arts such as the Butoh dance. It offers various possibilities worth exploring, in case of this mini-project it was depth thresholding using Kinect. Adding visuals to the dance allowed enhancing the experience from the third person perspective. Moreover, the visualization became a device which allowed the performer to spread her ideas.
