The concept of this group of illustrations was create this little elfic girls in a huge garden, in a watercolor style and using pastel colors. I imagined them as sweet female creatures living in those gardens. They always carry a light around. Made me think: "Maybe they could be the fireflies of this world, and nobody knows..."
Drawing plants, foliage, flowers and all this botanic things is always an experiment and a big pleasure to me with interesting results. The textures that painting with watercolor gives me, even if it is digitally, are rich and only increase the quality of an illustration, making it even more interesting.
As usual, I keep doing those snowy scenes to my illustrations. I really like this snowfall effect.
I appreciate a lot the pastel pink tones, and they are always present on my illustrations, even if it is just in little tiny details. As a brush in the cheeks...
