Hong Kong Reflections
On my orientation day as an incoming freshmen at the Hong Kong campus of Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), my newfound friends and I decided to travel one subway stop away to pick up art supplies.

A few months later, during a long weekend, my classmates and friends flew abroad or went home to celebrate Chinese New Year with family. In the midst of that extended weekend, news of a viral outbreak spread through the city like wildfire.
In a panic, more and more of my friends started leaving, and soon enough, student residences became a ghost town.

Living in Hong Kong during such strange times was a wild roller coaster, to say the least. In this period of time, I encountered many experiences, people, and lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
