HIDE WASHING MACHINE
DESIGN BACKGROUND
Conventional drum washing machines have a problem of mold and germs because the inside water does not dry if the door is closed after washing. When germs grow, the laundry does not dry well and smells bad sometimes. Therefore, it is recommended to keep the door of a washing machine open, but the user will feel inconvenient if they leave the door open.
DESIGN SOLUTION
We came up with a solution thinking about the problem of the typical washing machine and how to solve the user's inconvenience.
We solved this issue by designing a new kind of a door.
'Hide' solves this problem with a new design that you can push the door in the body so that the door does not protrude.
Since it is also innovative in appearance, it looks good in any place, and its door does not block the user’s movements.
